Devotional Thought:
As many of you know, I set a goal to lead one person to the Lord in September. God answered my prayer and changed a man’s life forever! A couple of weeks ago I went to the Plaza to share the gospel. I met a man named Waad who is a refugee from Iraq. I shared the Gospel with him and he made a commitment to the Lord! I am now beginning the task of making Waad a follower of Jesus. I’m meeting up with Waad on Sundays at 3pm for coffee and Bible study. Pray for Waad that he will continue to make time for me and especially that he will develop a daily habit of prayer and Bible study. Also pray for me to have boldness as I continue to share the Gospel with people.
This month we are starting a Bible study that, by God’s grace, will develop into The Following Church. I have had a few families express interest in attending. Please pray for the Bible study and the people who will be coming.
I want to thank all of our financial partners! Because of your heart for God and love for people, the Gospel is being shared weekly and disciples are being made! We wouldn’t be able to start this church without your support. I think of your gift like a brick in a building. With every donation you are building the church. And if you have not yet partnered with us financially, can I encourage you to begin by giving $25 or $50 a month?
